Know what the job really is
Job titles hide the most important thing about a senior role: what you're walking into. Every Open Field listing carries one of six role contexts, plus a short "What this means for you" note: what it means, who it suits, and what to ask them.
Build role
The company is bringing work in-house. You'd set it up, or be one of the first people doing it.
Takeover role
The posting itself says the work is moving in-house from an agency. You'd bring it in and own it.
Channel owner
You'd own a channel's results, running it hands-on or managing the agency that does.
Top seat open
The top marketing job is empty. You'd set direction for the whole function.
Senior seat open
A leadership seat under the top leader, with the stated reporting line when the posting names it.
Growing team
An established team is adding headcount, so the remit comes defined.

Each role shows only what the posting and our other feeds actually state. When a detail isn't known, it's left out, never guessed.

Funding rounds, marketing leadership changes and headlines about the company, from the rest of Peregrine OS. Each headline is credited to the feed it came from.
How long it's been open
Every role keeps the date it first appeared. "Open 30+ days" can mean a hard search, which is leverage for you, or a stalled one worth asking about.
Scope and reporting line
Who the role reports to and the budget or team it owns, when the posting states them.
Tools named
The marketing platforms the posting names, so you can check your fit at a glance.
Market pulse
How many senior roles are open, how many are new this week, and the remote share, top tools and top industries across all of them.

Is it really free?
Yes. Searching, the market pulse, your profile and job alerts are all free, with no account needed.
Where do the roles come from?
From company career pages and the job boards they post to, found by the same daily sweep that powers Peregrine OS's Harrier feed. Staffing-agency reposts and "confidential client" listings are left out.
How fresh are listings?
Open Field updates every day. A role stays listed for up to 31 days after it was last seen. For roles posted on a company job board we can check (Greenhouse, Lever and Ashby), a role that disappears from that board is taken down the next day.
Do you handle applications?
No. The apply button takes you to the original job posting, usually on the company's own job board (for example Greenhouse, Lever or Ashby), and names the site it goes to. We never see or process your application.
What does Peregrine OS do with my email?
If you set up an alert, we use your email to send that alert and, once you confirm, to send occasional updates about Open Field. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing from your last alert takes you off the Open Field list too. See our privacy policy.
